Mum was just telling me a story about one of her work friends.
This woman's nephew is Autistic and she took him to the Aquarium to the penguin exhibit.
They both came home and she noticed that he was soaking wet so she put him in the bath, when she came back in to check on him she noticed that his backpack was soaked as well.
and then she noticed the penguin, in the bath with her Nephew.
Everyone knows that most Autistic children are very smart and very observant. This boy is also obviously very crafty.
he had somehow gotten into the enclosure and taken a penguin to put in his backpack.
This woman rang up the Aquarium and told them several times that her nephew had taken a penguin and to send someone, no one listened, they thought it was a prank. Then she told them to count.
They sent someone straight away and then penguin was placed into quarentine.
What I don't understand is, I have been to the aquarium, I've seen the penguin exhibit.
There are only 2 types of penguins there:
Gentu's and Emperors.
No fairy penguins (which are obviously the smallest)
Gentu Penguins (size wise) sit at the top of your knee, your hip at most and I won't even mention emperor penguins.
how the hell did this little boy get a penguin the size from the floor to your hip out of the encloser and into his backpack and not have anyone notice.
That is one crafty kid.

Had my Tap concert and graduated from KBT. I'm going to miss the course and my group so much! we're still going to keep in touch which is good.
My tap concert was really good, lots of fun, I'm changing the day I do it next year (if I get into Interpreting at RMIT *knock wood*)
I recently got a Nintendo DS, so awesome!! its brilliant. I totally love it, I have a HP game, I want some more for christmas.
I'm putting in an application at Officeworks, and am going to re-write my resume. Also going to write a cover letter.
I've been drawing alot recently, for my friends birthday I'm drawing a picture of us all as Superheroes.
Amy will be Catwoman, Tanya is Wonderwoman and I'm going to be Poison Ivy. I've just finished figuring out the poses we're going to be in.
I'm going to start making Icon's again.
I love Spring Awakening and I really like the song Decode by Paramore.
I'm going back to Vicdeaf to help out with the ILS luncheon, yay! I'm heading in at 8:30am. can't wait to get back.
I have my Chior concert this Saturday night, I'll hopefully be seeing HSM 3 during the day with a friend.
My sister is also coming home on Thursday/Friday, I can't wait!!! I've missed her heaps, talking over the phone isn't the same.

Tomorrow I've got Deafblind, I am also handing in my Interpreting assignment. It was really fun and very interesting. I wrote about the OH&S Policy of ASLIA (Australian Sign Language Interpreters Association), it was awesome.
Tomorrow the new Narnia movie comes out. I want to see it on Friday but no one can with me. Everyone is busy. I'm going to try a few people from Uni and if that doesn't work out, I'll go by myself. I also want to see the new Indiana Jones movie.
I'm going out to a play with Amy tonight! w00t! I'm really excited, the MTC always has awesome play's.
I need Mum's help with my knitting, I've stuffed up slightly and I need her help to fix a loop that I made too big.

I just went to the bathroom at TAFE and the toilet blocked. So, I did what I usually do when this happens at home, I flushed it again, now, when I usually do this at home, it unblocks and gets flushed away.
it didn't here.
It filled up with water and wouldn't stop. Then around the base of the toilet it started pooling water.
I freaked out and closed the lid, grabbing my stuff.
Water started to leak out from the lid and was dripping everywhere, there was a massive pool of water on the floor.
I closed the door, washed and dried my hands and left....
I have just flooded the bathroom at TAFE.
I hope no one notices.....

I am so angry right now!!
I had an awesome day, I picked up Ruby ( a friends daughter) from Sports, Camp Australia. I collected her and took her (and myself) out for lunch. Then we went to coles and bought some junk and came home to watch some Harry Potter till her Mum came to pick her up.
I had a great day.
Then later on tonight, Mum comes home and starts yelling about how the front door key is missing. I haven't seen or touched that key in ages, I use my own key.
So, deciding that since the key is missing it suddenly automatically means she can seach through my ENTIRE ROOM!!!!
Its MY room!! I told her I don't have it, I've been using my own key but NOOOO! lets seach anyway!
Well guess what mum!!!! The FUCKING key is NOT in my room!!!!!!!
And what does she say after she accuses me of having it and then searching my room only to come up empty? nothing.
Not even a "I'm sorry, looks like I was wrong, you don't have the key, sorry for going through all your private stuff".
Then she leaves my entire room in a pigstye! doesn't even put anything away, she just leaves it.
I am so mad right now.

I didn't have my glasses on so I had to lean in really close to see what it was...
It was a cockroach.
There was a huge, creepy, horrible cockroach in my freaking shower!
Naturally I screamed and bolted for the corner of the bathroom.
But I still needed to have a bloody shower didn't I? So I got some toilet paper, grabbed it and tossed it in the toilet and flushed.
Turns out I didn't grab it at all, it scutted off before I had the chance to and now since I'd tried to grab it and failed, it was running all over the place, so this time , instead of grabbing it, I grabbed the toilet cleaner instead and drowned the bastard!!!
I picked it up with some toilet paper and flushed it down the toilet.
My morning was offically ruined.
I fucking hate cockroaches.

I was looking through National Geographic earlier (came across one in the study) and I found this in an essay by John Updike about new dinosaurs that have been discovered.
He talks about the impractical body stucture of some of the carnivours.
"An even more impractical design shaped the skull of the pachycephalosaurid "Dracorex Hogwartsia" - an intricate sunburst of spiky horns and knobs. Only one such skull has been unearthed; it is on display, with the playful name derived from Harry Potter's school of witchcraft and wizardry, in the Indianapolis's Children's Museum."
